Tim, Helen and now Guillaume are a great team! Very friendly and clearly very passionate about what they do. I had my precious violin in their new workshop and I couldn't be happier with the service and quality of the work. Highly recommended!

Tim and Helen are not only wonderful and warm people but very knowledgeable as well. They passionately showed and explained about the different violins they have. My dad and I had a very pleasant experience at the store. Maxyn Kingston.

As an Edinburgh amateur violinist, one of my greatest joys is visiting Tim Wright Fine Violins. I always receive a warm greeting. Tim and his wife Helen are both very knowledgable and enthusiastic about violins and bows. They are endlessly patient with me and are delighted to discuss instruments. I have learnt a lot from them. I also recently purchased an 18th century Italian violin from Tim and Helen and am delighted with my new instrument. The shop is a jewel and Tim and Helen are excellent.

This is an outstanding shop for players at all levels. I've seen Helen and Tim skillfully assist young players in finding their first instrument, ensuring that the violin or viola fits well and is set up correctly for easy playing. I've also seen them generously guide advanced players (including me) to beautiful violins and bows. I don't hesitate to recommend their services to young or old or anybody in between!
