On 17/12 Went to Glitterfest for works Xmas party and left my bag behind while in a drunken state but had a great time. Food was good and staff brilliant. The next day there was an event on so was unable to get the bag because of how busy it was and limited staff but I had a flight in a couple hours time. Staff were amazing despite how busy it was and gave me a call once they'd sorted it. I want to give a big thanks to the 2 staff members at the gate house and the hospitality team. Would recommend 100% and hope the staff get a well earned break and recognition after the Christmas period.

VIP area pass was a con as it consisted of one glass of champagne and yet cost 20. The meal service was too slow. Glasses were being lifted off tables before drinks were finished and there was inconsistent prices for the same drinks which were overpriced. All of this smacked of greed.

Had the best time So much fun Classic pop music Although drinks were very expensive But a great alrounder for a Christmas night out No need for trying to find seats in pubs and traipsing around town in the cold Have dinner and dance till 2am in the warmth Very glizy and glamour Highly recommend

Really poor. Overrated and overpriced. Markets itself as the biggest Christmas Party in Edinburgh, which is ironic considering the size of the dinner; 1 slice of carrot, 1 slice of parsnip and 2 brusselsprouts. Where is the rest of it? Soup was mediocre, cheesecake had awful jelly-like texture, but I was so hungry following the main course I had to eat it. Welcome glass of sparkling wine was flat and warm. Headline hosts appeared for less than 5 minutes. GlitterFest - Id expect the venue to be decorated with glitter and Christmas decorations. Instead it felt like a conference room with some coloured lighting. Drinks were overpriced; 23 for a bottle of warm white wine which tasted foul (probably equivalent of a 2 corner shop vintage) Oh, and for an event with approx 600 guests paying at least 35 a ticket (therefore over 20,000 income a night), youd think you could at least make sure the curtains werent hanging off the rails! If youre considering this for your Christmas Party, seriously dont bother!! #ScroogeFest

4 of us booked to come here for our Christmas night out. Arrived to find they'd split us up even after an email confirming we'd all be sat together. 2 of us moved 65 tables away. After numerous complaints finally we got a table where we were sat all together. We arrived at 18:30 and by the time we walked out at 21:40, the headline radio DJ hosts had only been on stage a grand total of 5 mins. We paid 59 a ticket and the 3 course meal was poor. The one slice of turkey over cooked. The two carrots and two sprouts cooked lovely but the 2 roast potatoes tasted like frozen roast potatoes. The cheesecake dessert had a jelly like consistency. Had I attended the week prior and paid 39, I'd of thought it was so so but 59 was a poor effort. The welcome glass of cheap prosecco was ok. I'm sure the event is making enough money with approx 1000 people paying between 59 and 79 a ticket per evening, that I would of expected it to be a more quality experience.
