This letting agency is the worst! We have never experience an end of tenancy worst than this! First of all, we've rented the property for almost 2 years and we already had an inspection last year and the property was spotless. We had the same inspection this year and the date they proposed didn't work for us because we were on holiday. We asked to postpone it to the week after and they threatened us to use the keys without our consent to carry out the inspection! We needed to call them and sort the date out and this is something that never happened to us! Secondly, we paid for the gardener and a cleaning agency before leaving the property (we paid 330 for the property to be cleaned!) and they are now forcing us to pay another 120 for the cleaning again!!!! We then agreed that we would only pay 102 of the 120 (which I completely feel it was unfair), they then sent us an email to get our acceptance to this fee only for then to reply that we needed to pay the full 120 and took our previous email as acceptance!!! I am absolutely appalled by this unfair treatment and I'm now raising a complaint with the Property Ombudsman and also started to reclaim the full deposit back on SafeScotland. I really advise you to look for another agent if you're still deciding between 2 properties to rent. We always received full deposits back and after over 10 days of leaving the property we still haven't seen our money!
