Unfortunate that I decided to buy a house from this firm. One of their solicitors was selling his house and foolishly I did not realise that he put his interests as a house owner before his professional duties and responsibilities as a solicitor. There is a complaint going to the Scottish Legal complaints commission about his behaviour. Unfortunately the solicitor didnt respond to the tradition of leaving the house clean and tidy and we spent two weeks clearing up his human filth! It is subjective ( so Im told by solicitors). So there is no comeback for the filthy mess. That is no excuse. As a human being he should have ensured that the mess was cleared up.

Murray Snell were incredibly courteous and professional in their dealing and handling of my house purchase. Alan Burns played a blinder in securing the property and getting my offer accepted, and kept me abreast of activity throughout even during times of uncertainty through a global pandemic. It's rare to come across great communication like this, but they were exemplary and offered excellent value for their services.

Murray Snell and especially John Macleod have helped my wife and I over the years buy two properties, write our wills and alter one of our titles. The service we have received has always been excellent and understanding. The after service has been outstanding as well.
