      • Practical Edinburgh

        Had Chris and Jay fixing some issues with Roller shutters doors that hadn't been un use for a long time. Very nice guys to have in the office and couldn't have been more helpful. Definitely recommend IDS for any door related problems you may have! Thanks Again!

        The first time we dealt with this company was a good experience. They fixed and replaced our door motor professionally. The second time has left us far less satisfied. We had issues with our gate moving. As it turned out it was just stones stuck in the rut. They insisted on charging for 2 men for 2 hours work each for one man to spend a few minutes removing stones. Cost around 150 ex vat which even given a minimum call out charge felt excessive for a few mins work. Claimed every job needs 2 men for internal health and safety reasons but we never really got a sense for what those health and safety reasons were (i don't encounter a back up man policy for most services). Be careful and ask for a quote up front for any job required.
