I had a great time stop by at Rustom restaurant a few days ago. Xshan provided such an excellent service, everything was absolutely great! The food, the service and a beautiful interior design. I ordered Chicken Tandoori and Chicken Shashlik, the food was to die for, chili sauce was superb! Highly recommended and will be back next time I visit Edinburgh.

When I was on holiday in Scotland I have visited this restaurant. First day I visited with my wife and daughter (6years old), nobody was on main door. We were waiting but noone came. Then I went in. One waiter came and asked to wait outside. We were waiting out and waiter came and told us we are full today. This was genuine part. Next day morning I have reserved for 7.30pm slot for 3 ppl and in afternoon I got confirmation. Exactly 7.30pm I was at restaurant, one manager (I guess) came no greetings, I have told him that I have reservation for 3. His expressions was we are not welcome here. I thought it was me who misunderstood. But my wife also sensed same. He allocated a table of 2 with extra chair. When I saw a table and arrangement I took a moment. I stopped at my place. Then I was sure we are not welcome here. Looking to my expression, waiter asked him to allocate new table. Then we got a table of 4. Food was good except shammi kabab, Prashant (waiter) were trying well to have good impression of restaurant as there was shortage of staff. More than an hour for order to serve. I will not recommend this restaurant if you are an Indian, instead of this restaurant visit Omar Khayyam which is just across the lane. Friendly staff, good food and atmosphere. I have visited few Indian restaurants in London where Indians are not welcomed. This restaurant is same like that just based in Scotland.
