We really love the food in this place ! Authentic South Indian dishes done without fuss or pretentiousness. One of the waiters ( I wish Id thought to ask his name) provided us with great service on two occasions- answering questions about the dishes and serving the food in a professional and friendly way. Its also good that they have started taking reservations and card payment. The only reason Ive given it 4 stars is because I think the decor needs updating. I like the no nonsense canteen vibe - I just think it needs modernising!

We eat here regularly, but gradually the portion sizes have shrunk. Tonight i ordered a main mysore masala dosai and not only was i brought masala dosai, it took half an hour to arrive despite the restaurant being empty, i accepted it because i was hungry and the waiter left the table as soon as he put it down and disappeared and to cap it all the potato masala probably equated to one small spoon of potato. I left hungry and will not be in a hurry to return.

Went for lunch with my friends, to my surprise the food was actually very good. The species were on point and overall pretty good food. What bothers me is that it is not pocket friendly. I found it overpriced. They also did not allow us to split the bill, which is a bit weird and inconvenient. So overall I would say that it is good place as far as food is concerned but would not make it my go to due to economic reasons
