Visited when enjoying a day out at Portobello. Happened upon an image of an ice cream from Oscars when googling what to do on the day trip and that became the first on my to do list. Walked past Ice cream vans and other Gelaterias en route like a man on a mission, my other half wondering why we were walking past all these other ice cream vendors, along the promenade. Reached Oscars and ordered couple of waffle cones. Anywhere I travel on holiday Ill search Tripadvisor for best rated gelato and Oscars on the prom is one of the best waffle cones Ive tasted . Pistachio being my go to flavour. Also after spotting the fish n chips, we decided to grab some too, well it would be rude not to.

Twenty Minutes from the house, so fish and chips has to be decent. Worth a stop off with a crowd or just a smallish group

Excellent place for ice cream. Lovely kind and friendly staff. Our dog loved the ice cream as well. Look forward to our next visit.

Absolutely amazing curry and chips, with generous serving sizes as well. The ice cream selection is also great in range and flavour.
