Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh - The Caledonian

Stayed at the Waldorf Astoria, (The Caledonian) Edinburgh with my daughter for a Mother/Daughter Hen treat. Wow!!! What an experience from start to finish I really have to name check RiAnne on Reception, Ben & Nittin in Grazing Restaurant , Kem in The Caley Bar & Ross, Director of Food & Beverage first of all. These staff members went above & beyond their job descriptions. The level of their service was second to none and made our stay truly unforgettable. They really are an absolute credit to the Hotel. We cant wait to come back after the wedding with the rest of our family - Carol & Ainsley

I stayed in the hotel for two nights. The hotel is difficult to deal with Access Location / excellent (close to restaurants and shops commercial) The room is big Service / When requesting more tissues for the toilet, I was informed to pay a fee, and I refused that. Upon exit, I paid the value of the room by credit card, but the front desk employee surprised me by paying additional fees for house keeping, because there were tissues on the floor. I explained to them that we are 3 People in one room, and there is an old person with diabetes who goes to the toilet several times, and a small size is not enough to put all the tissues inside the trash About that, since I informed the front desk employee that I have an Honors membership and that I did not accept to pay house keeping fees because this is their job, and I will inform. She told me that I have the credit card data and I will take the fees from her, but I refused and told her not to allow her to do this and take the money from my credit card I went many hotel on the wold and this is first time I stay in hotel and doing with me like that Edinburgh Room 366
