Excellent hosts who are warm, friendly, and accommodating. Awesome historians who are culturally engaged. Great location with easy access to all sites of interest. Lovely cottage with a comfortable bedroom, and a lovely modern bathroom and kitchen. Spacious kitchen with lots of natural light and modern day appliances. Cool neighborhood with some trendy nearby tea rooms. My favorite resting place when I visit Scotland. Highly recommended.

If you want to have a good time, stay with Mark and Mickey. Luckily we did. We are two young girls from Germany and stayed in Edinburgh for a while. That was about a year ago and still we are in contact. It was not just a stay for sleeping. We got to know lovely people who made our stay unforgettable. As a young vegetarian, not knowing a lot about cooking, Mark teached me some delicious recipes. We had very long and deep conversations and a lot of laughters and fun! They are super down to earth, caring, open minded and funny. Hope to see you again one day! Love, Lara

This was by FAR the best Airbnb stay I have ever had. The accommodations, the location, and especially the hosts. Mark & Mickey are incredible people, and I'm so happy to have met them! The house is beautiful, the garden is lovely, the room is nice and big (we stayed in a ton of Airbnb's while traveling, and some were crazy small!), and we even had our own living room! Also, that bathroom is gorgeous! Whenever I travel to Scotland, I will only be staying here. Mark & Mickey truly made Scotland feel like home, so much so I hated leaving. Thanks for everything. I can't wait to see you again!

nice quiet neighborhood. easy access from airport. minutes walk to bus stop to downtown Edinburgh. Home is very warm & welcoming, Room very comfortable with hotel quality linens. This was my first time here & I have never felt so welcome other than being home. Hot coffee or tea with warm scones with clotted cream in the morning. I didn't want to leave. Lovely bathroom with amazing shower that I have never experienced. So relaxing after being out all day. All toiletries included. Enjoyed the backyard garden area all times of day on comfy outdoor furniture cuddled up with a blanket. More than all the comforts of home were the two amazing people Mark & Mickey who opened up their home to us. They were full of information ,history & great places to see. Looking forward to my next stay

Mark and Mickey are the most wonderful human beings on the planet. They are extremely kind, open, caring and downright hospitable. They will cook for you; laugh with you; and even go out with you for a few! The home is very beautiful and very well kept. I highly highly highly recommend them for a trip to Scotland. But keep in mind I got first dibs. Love those gents.
