The perfect bnb - friendly and accommodating hosts, clean rooms and good breakfast. Private bathroom across the hall. Warm throughout the night, despite it being -4 degrees outside! Great location so long as you don't mind a bus or walk into town, and perfect if you're visiting the Science campus (King's Campus) of Edinburgh University which is just a 5 minute walk away. Will definitely be staying here again!

The host was incredibly nice. She gave us tips about the city, helped us understand the busses and even had great tips for eating out! The room was very comfortable and could tell it was quite clean when we arrived. The breakfast was also very refreshing. Walkability: easy 40min walk to the center of town. bus stop right around the corner as well.

A lovely bed and breakfast! We were welcomed by Irene, the owner, who runs this place and ensures you have everything you need. The rooms are nicely decorated with the basic necessities being covered. They are en suite although they have been made so manually - there is a small part of the room carved out, and the bathrooms are tiny - I mean tiny! But theres a shower, a toilet and a sink - all you might need. The bed was comfortable and made daily, which surprised us! The only downside is that it was quite small: for my partner shows 1.85 - he could touch the end of the bed with his feet. But the mattress was excellent and the sheets soft and pleasant. The place is on a quiet street so you get great sleep. It is a little far from the city center, with about a 30-40 minute walk into town or a 15 minute bus ride. The walk is very pleasant though so we walked daily. There is also breakfast served: its quite basic but enough to fill you for the day ahead. Overall would stay again!

The B and B was clean and the owner very friendly Our room was adequate We had to arrive a day earlier than Pre-Booked (Because of the Rail strike on the day we were to arrive Whether we would have been given the same room if we had arrived on the date booked(The Tuesday21st June)It was oretty badic to be honest But the house was very nice and in a lovely residential areaIt was about 10 mins frim the centre by bus Breakfast was a continental one and pretty basic pots of yoghurt ,thin slices of cheese nothing very tasty and toast and jams Akso All the people staying there were on one large table with little thought for Covid There was a famiky on another tabke in the dining room which was separate to us We enjoyed the stay but a few things could have been better It was my 70th birthday on the Thursday and it was a really nice thing that I received a card and a box of chocolates from the owner
