Rooms: Big spacious rooms, our bathroom was a little tight but not an issue. Not a coffee/tea drinker but the kettle in the room could do with an upgrade (looked well used) as did the TV remote.

(Translated by Google) The Abercorn Guest House may be on the High Street in Portobello, but it's also in the middle of a beautiful garden. That's why you live here very quietly and yet very centrally. The bus stop is just a few steps away and the bus to the CityCenter comes every 10 minutes. The house exudes a wonderful atmosphere and is very lovingly and tastefully furnished. We immediately felt comfortable when Angela gave us a warm welcome. Our room was fantastic! It was perfectly appointed with high ceilings & windows, comfortable seating, table & dressing table. We slept very well in the super comfortable bed. The bathroom is not huge but adequate and very clean. When we came back from our tours in the evening, the room was comfortably warm and the lamps were already switched on for us. For breakfast we could choose between the Scottish delicacies every day and on Burns Day there was even delicious haggis. Angela fulfilled our every wish. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely come back. Everything was perfect! We love this B&B and also the cute little town of Portobello with its cute little shops and beautiful beach. (Original) Das Abercorn Guest House liegt zwar an der High Street in Portobello, aber auch mitten in einem wunderschnen Garten. Deshalb wohnt man hier sehr ruhig und doch sehr zentral. Die Bushaltestelle liegt nur ein paar Schritte entfernt und der Bus zum CityCenter kommt alle 10 Minuten. Das Haus strahlt eine wundervolle Atmosphre aus und ist sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefhlt als Angela uns warmherzig empfangen hat. Unser Zimmer war fantastisch! Mit hohen Decken & Fenstern, bequemen Sitzgelegenheiten, Tisch und Schminktisch war es perfekt ausgestattet. Wir haben in dem super bequemen Bett sehr gut geschlafen. Das Badezimmer ist nicht riesig, aber ausreichend und sehr sauber. Wenn wir abends von unseren Touren zurck kamen, war das Zimmer mollig warm und die Lampen schon fr uns eingeschaltet. Zum Frhstck konnten wir jeden Tag neu whlen zwischen den schottischen Kstlichkeiten und am Burns Day gab es sogar leckeren Haggis. Angela hat uns jeden Wunsch erfllt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden definitiv wieder kommen. Alles war perfekt! Wir lieben dieses B&B und auch das se Stdtchen Portobello mit den schnuckeligen kleinen Lden und dem schnen Strand.
