Georgian Guest House

A very attractive Georgian Guest House with excellent, comfortable facilities and exceptional period dcor and furnishings offering a high degree of comfort. Pam and Doug are excellent hosts and are very knowledgeable about the local area, which was particularly helpful for visiting the many tourist facilities in the city by bus. On street parking was convenient, directly in front of the house. Portobello (Edinburghs lengthy beach) was within a ten-minute walk. The continental breakfast was varied and plentiful. We had an extremely comfortable room and bathroom. We really enjoyed our visit and would stay there again, the next time we are in Edinburgh. Highly recommended and exceptional value.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay here because the place is very clean, homey and cozy.The host, Pam and Doug are super friendly and nice. They are so helpful, providing us the change for local bus ride, recommending us the restaurants nearby, calling the taxi and even getting up very early to see us off on our departure date.The beach is within walking distance and the city center is only a 15 mins bus ride. We would recommend to our friends if they decide to pay a visit to Edinburgh. As for our next visit in the future, definitely around August we would for sure return to Georgian Guest House.Kim and Victoria from Toronto, Canada
