I had booked an appointment with Neva the night before the appointment because my dog passed away and I felt like getting a colour change to lift my mood. I skipped the part of the skin test thinking it was not needed since I had recently gotten a skin test at another salon. Made the 40 deposit online and came into the store at 9am first thing in the morning. Neva greeted me nicely and told me that since I did not get the skin test at Medusa I cannot have my hair coloured on that day unfortunately and said that I can have the deposit back due to the misunderstanding and will speak to the manager for me. Two weeks after, no money arrived in my account so I made a phone call to inquire about the situation. Was spoken to by the manager Rhonda with hostile tone from the start of the conversation, confrontational about the policy and how it was impossible for her to have said that I could receive a refund because it is not within her power to say anything in regards to the matter and when I asked to speak to Neva personally since she was the person I spoke to the day of to see if there was a misunderstanding on my part. The manager refused and accused me of being a threat to Neva, quote shes just a young girl it would be putting pressure on her when I was completely respectful and understanding. Just wanted someone who has previously spoken to me about the matter to explain the situation rather than a mean and unfriendly stranger. Neva was really lovely when we spoke in person and if she told me that theres been an misunderstanding I wouldve accepted that and been okay with my error. However, being yelled at and accused of being a pressure by a stranger who has never spoken to me before was just beyond rude. Would not recommend the service and please be careful when making appointments since your deposit cannot be refunded.
