23 Mayfield Guest House

I had such a wonderful stay at 23 Mayfield Guest House! So friendly and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make me feel at home. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone taf looking for a great place to stay in Edinburgh. I will definitely be back!

Wow 23 Mayfield describes itself as a Guest House, but its more than that,its more like being at home. The Breakfast is super, from the toast which i understand come from a local bakery, the porridge with a dash of whisky, the fish dish which in this instant was salmon and scambled eggs. And the scottish breakfast was excellent. If you stay long enough try the menu completely you will not be at all disapointed. The centre of town is 30 mins away, and you cant get lost there are about 6 busses and all the cabs know 23 Mayfield. I stayed for 5 nights and would of stayed longer if the choice had been mine.

What a stunning place to stay! The house is absolutely beautiful, the hosts are very knowledgeable and friendly, the breakfast is so tasty and filling, and the location is great! Our rooms were incredibly cozy. Attention was paid to every detail.

Rooms: Love love love the rich woods and decor. So charming. Nearby activities: Easy access to Royal Mile. Noteworthy details: The homemade breakfasts are incredible. Owner Ross just happens to be a brilliant chef.
