Amazing experience. I recently had the best meal I've had for a long time, at L'Escargot Bleu. The place captures true French charm along with warm Edinburgh hospitality. The food was absolutely fantastic & the service was first class. Fred & Betty have created something magical here, fine dining with a warm welcome. Do start with a visit to the wine bar downstairs, run by their charming daughter. My only regret....that I don't live in Edinburgh so I could be a regular here. We were so lucky to have our last dinner in Edinburgh here. You need to book in advance, just keep this in mind. Steak Tartare, fish soup, mains, desserts, wine, everything was so amazing. Had one of the best dine in experiences. The service was nice, staff was very friendly. Atmosphere so calm and cosy. Will definitely come back if well be in Edinburgh again.
