I have used Ideal Electrical for several years and thoroughly recommend them. As a landlord, I have lots of HMO regulations to adhere to - Ideal Electrical make the whole process so much easier. They have installed smoke / heat detectors in all my properties etc, resolved issues, upgraded electrical issues to ensure safety and compliance to regs, even serviced fire extinguishers etc. They are professional, polite, extremely helpful and go the extra mile to ensure the work is done to the highest standard. I recommend Ideal Electrical to all my friends / family and wouldnt look anywhere else. Not really impressed with this company. We booked in a date a month in advance and they didnt turn up. We had a 2 hour return drive to the site and back. We sat around waiting and didnt hear anything from them until we chased them. They apologised and rebooked a week later which they did turn up for. After their investigation they said they would write up a quote for the work. Over a week later wed heard nothing again. Contacted them today and they said that they dont do this type of work and wont quote on it. 6 weeks ago when we first contacted them, we were very clear and specific that the work was for outdoor lights. 6 weeks later and they tell us now that they dont do outdoor lights. We have 3 days left to find another electrician and get the work done before the house sells on Friday. They have completely wasted our time and we now have to refund the buyers some money because of the outdoor lights are not working. 6 weeks! If they told us 6 weeks ago that they dont do outdoor lights, we would have looked for someone else. Theyve wasted our time and cost us money.
