I've had the misfortune to have this place as my surgery for a number of years. Thankfully I'm not often ill, but on the occasions I had to deal with them the members of staff acted in a very entitled manner and proved consistently unhelpful.

I have a mixed experience in this surgery. I had a serious illness 7 years ago, but the young GP planned a completely wrong examination plan. This mistake could be fatal for me. The manager of the practice called me later and very hesitantly apologized for what happened, while trying to find some way to defend a complete wrong treatment. However, there exist good GPs there, e.g. Dr Alexander. They are also very disorganised in calling you back for checking the treatment plans. You have to call and pursue why they have not contacted you, while your current stock of medicine is almost gone. Recently, it is very difficult, if possible, to get a GP appointment. The idea of open visit day was a good idea before the pandemic. I recently moved my place in Edinburgh, but I have not be able to find a new practice to accept me. However, this surgery stopped repeating an important medicine for me and the receptionist refused to arrange a call back by her manger for me to discuss the situation, because I told them that I have moved from the area but looking for a new practice. I have been almost abundant. I strongly believe it is a below the bar medical practice, but it has received a high rate due to the general poor service in the coverage area.
