Hint for people trying to call the practice: select option 3 "other enquiries". I was kept on hold for over 2 hours when selected option 2 "appointments". When I called back a minute later and selected 3, phone was picked up instantly! Update after I moved to the western side of the city and had to change GPs. If you think Craigmillar is weak, it's another level of hell there. My inly issue with Cragmillar's practice was getting through the phone. But staff was always kind and helpul.

Every morning from 8:00 to 9:00, the phone must not be able to get through. If you dont accept appointments after 9:00, its fine! They are chatting outside the lobby, this GP is rubbish, all the service staff are rubbish

Managed to get through on the phone and a callback from the Dr arranged within 15 minutes. Saw the GP late morning who made same day referral. Friendly, professional staff on phone and on the front desk. The online repeat prescription service is also very efficient. A reliable and caring medical practice.

No answer to the phone after pressing 2 for appointments seriously appalling rang numerous times to get no answer at all
