I received very bad treatment mainly from the dental assistant and receptionist, also the female dentist to identify, as I was an NHS patient on an HC2 Certificate. I got all my data as entitled. Previous assistant was fine but the last visit there was a new one. *I kept telling the junior female dentist Charlotte Morrison to use anaesthetic as she drilled on all occasions I went.* Assistant followed me to the exit shouting and I pointed out there must be CCTV in operation but Sean Murphy did nothing. I followed the internal complaints procedure. Assistant invaded my personal space at the exit and shouted abusively, 2-3 inches from my face, in total violation of social distancing. On and on. This is abuse. Receptionist said she does not care that the Ku Klux Klan was Scottish Gaelic Protestant or origin church of Scotland, hence the burning cross with torn up bedsheets. Initially with a C not K as the Clansmen with the tartan kilts, but which clan/family surname? I was in tears as this was first class in reverse gear. Department of State (not the State Department as one name and logo) was excellent and my contact was Afro-American. Also great was a Democratic Senator. I grew up in the US and went to Bill Clinton's alma mater in Washington D C, a Republican stronghold. I terminated the dentist's services 1st immediately I returned home via a detailed email, after which I got a one line photocopy letter by the dentist Charlotte Morrison 'terminating' me instead! However they have not done so with NHS Dental/ Scotland emergencies on Lauriston Place. In boldface it is stated that removal from a dental or medical practice must by law be in writing giving 03 months' notice, and not by the rude receptionist. Police Scotland was aware the KKK was Scottish, and I have the dictionary of the Scots language 'supported' or funded by the SG where in Scotland the cross was a sign of defence not attack. I quit the kirk or church, Greyfriars kirk where I was a member and where the covenant was signed, still in their museum. I got a letter of transference to the Anglican communion as we lived in Canterbury for 3 years, pointing out it is a choice betewen the devil and the deep blue sea (Henry the VIII). Rev (Dr) Richard Fraser said I can return anytime. Post covid-19 lockdown self-centrism has set in, now worse with COP26/27 and Ukraine. Note dentists cannot use the title Dr unlike GPs or lecturers of the University of Edinburgh as I was, also as an adviser to the UKG not only, making funding decisions. Mixed race, your category, as my parents and cousins had no colour until now. My former partner was a Member of the Scottish Parliament MSP and my uncle a former Member of Parliament in Switzerland; I can pick up the 'phone. I have also worked at a Racial Equality Council in Falkirk so know the early signs. Racism physical and verbal was by the assistant mainly and later the receptionist who was not present at the incidents, and penny-pinching on anaesthetics by the female dentist. Mr Murphy admitted the relationship was irretrievably broken. I am awaiting a response from dental complaints. Note however it is different for NHS and private patients. Also with regionalisation there is a distinction between England, Scotland and the UK. One year since discovery to complain it is still the laws of England and Wales not Scots law although the Scottish term 'timeously' was extended from 1 year to 3 following a legal case by Mr and Mrs Muir. I am not a solicitor by choice as they know the laws they do not make to break.
