Currency Exchange Bureau Edinburgh - South Bridge

Today (29/11/2020) at around 4 PM the person at the counter tried to quite literally scam my wife and her friend for over 5. Obviously, that is a tiny amount, but would my wife and her language skills not be there, say any other tourist, they would be left out of their money. When my wife tried to exchange 25 EUR to GBP, the lady behind the counter (after she looked up the rates in Google, very professional) gave out 15 and after that tried to convince them that there is no mistake. I don't believe it was a simple error as very few people when pointed to their mistake become so defensive that they try to shove customers out the door. In this day and age there is no place for businesses like that! UPDATE from 14/01 in response to the Owner response: Of course you would say this branch is very trustworthy, wouldn't you? Customer experience and reviews of this shop are saying otherwise though, don't they? May be you should investigate this properly and not just cover up if you do want to be in the business and actually care about customer satisfaction. The fact that you can't see the transaction either prooves that your tracking system is awful or that you have a not so trustworthy employee who tried to pocket the transaction for herself (the fact that she used Google Rates and not your System that she as you say - MUST USE prooves that and I am very confident in saying that my wife knows what Google search is and has no sight problems), or you are implying that I am here spending my time not to make people aware and be cautios but just throwing my time away by saying how bad you are. Do you really think people have time to do latter? Any way, I don't need any compensation and won't ever be coming back. Good luck
