M&S Simply Food

I bought some pomegranate seeds from here. Half of them were completely rotten and the other half were overripe. Too many self checkouts are packed into a small space. Expensive. They have a decent selection of chocolates and sweets.

Went to the M&S in Waverley station today and the young man at the self service checkouts was so helpful, lovely and friendly I almost cried with gratitude (I was a little stressed about platforms). He's a absolute credit to your store. (In addition, I loved the selection of products, I live rurally and this was a treat!)

Avoid this M&S in Waverley Station. Went into the store to ask about a specific product and the staff would rather talk among themselves than actually pay attention to the customers. I really had to shout up for them to "wake up". Also, there is only self services... so what are people to do if they only have cash?. Avoid at all costs.

I had a bad shopping experience here last week. I wasn't familiar with the store layout so I was scanning the shelves slowly to find the items I needed. But I found the security was following and monitoring me. This made me uncomfortable. There were other shoppers wondering around and the security just chose to monitor me. Is it because my Asian face looking? Felt a bit racist.
