Only go in if you want to be harassed by charity muggers who stand in the tiny entrance/exit.

Hot food counter is never on anymore early mornings as it use to be on. Stock for juice is shocking also, why cant they do it at night time when the shop is quiet.

Its with a heavy heart that I have to write this review. I have been shopping in StJohns Road Coop for years and I dont complain much but what I am about to say is not the first instance, however, today I just couldnt stand this anymore. I have witnessed a disgusting attitude from a shop assistant - Michelle. She was serving a woman I believe in her 30s dark-skinned. The woman asked for tobacco products and Michelle couldnt help but to GROWL at the woman and started commenting how the woman shouldnt drink and smoke just like she doesnt. I understand people have their own opinions about drinking and smoking however Michelle is not there to comment on peoples choices. She is there to attend to the customer and serve. Not to mention everyone else in the queue witnessed this and listened to it. The woman mustve felt embarrassed that she has to explain herself to a SHOP ASSISTANT. I have heard other customers comment her attitude is out of order and I do agree with this. I am hoping the store manager will take this review seriously and have a much needed serious conversation about this with Michelle because this is outrageous. As mentioned above this is not the first instance. In any other customer-based job this would be disciplinary. THIS IS DISGUSTING.
