        I hadn't been in Morningside for quite some time an dreaded trying to find somewhere to park. Luckily I found several empty spaces near to where I was needing to be. As I loaded my car from a shop nearby I noticed Detour Espresso. It looked new and inviting so far be it from me to miss an opportunity to have a coffee. I popped in. A great reception from the team there. Happy and welcoming. I liked the vibe of the place and the coffee smelled good. I went for my standard carry out latte and was very pleasantly assured by the car taken to make a decent carry out coffee. It smelled and tasted great. I didn't have the chance to try the food unfortunately but it looked good. I'll he back there to try it properly soon.

        Great coffee, tasty treats and friendly staff. The music choices and scandie inspired interior give it a chilled vibe. If you can get the big table its even better.

        A great cafe with a welcoming interior, good coffee and warm staff. The only thing is make sure you go there well after you have woken up and gone to work - it opens at 9am!!! Come on guys, this is city not the French countryside!
