Yesterday we had my daughter's birthday party at Miao's kitchen and this has been great. The food was really good: sandwiches, cakes, quiches, and obviously crpes. Everyone had a great time.

Very disappointed this morning on first visit as no adequate selection of scones, cakes , croissants. Passed here many times and its been busy so decided to try it. Opens at 10, we arrived at 10.30 and lady in front got last croissant! In this climate you will have to have a better choice if you are to stay in business. The coffee however was good! Perhaps we were just unlucky .

(Translated by Google) Passing by the bus today, I stumbled upon this cafe. The store has a French style. The sun shines through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and customers can enjoy the afternoon sun. In addition, light and soft music is playing in the store, creating a relaxed and freehand atmosphere. If it wasn't for the guests already occupying the seat by the window, I would definitely sit there The clerk handed over the menu very diligently, and unexpectedly it was displayed in both Chinese and English, and it was also in traditional Chinese, which was extra intimacy! What's even more surprising is that the menu contains all kinds of Taiwanese food, including braised pork rice and Taiwanese beef noodles! How long has it been since I had these two dishes in Edinburgh! After coming here, I have only eaten Taiwanese snacks such as salted chicken, but I miss the braised pork rice very much! Sure enough, it is the taste of authentic Taiwan, the taste of real Taiwan in my memory! It turns out the owner is Taiwanese! Rich and moist, braised pork rice is just like the honest and gentle Taiwanese, making people feel warm. The owner came out to chat with us kindly. It turns out that she has lived in Edinburgh for decades, and I believe this store has been here for a long time. Sadly she's planning to relocate, but we'll be visiting again at her new store on the Royal Mile! We also ordered Mini Crepes and Boba Bubble Tea. Soft cotton crepes are sprinkled with fragrant maple syrup, garnished with a little icing sugar, and the slightly crunchy edges make the whole dish rich. Friends especially appreciate Naboba bubble milk tea. The tea contains less sugar and the pearls are more prominent. It is very suitable for those who are afraid of sweetness and need to control sugar. I also noticed that the dishes used in this shop are printed with various flower patterns, and after eating the food in the bowl, I can find a Dutch girl at the bottom of the bowl. Compared with chain restaurants, I appreciate the unique personality of this small store. Overall, the food, environment, and price are worth recommending, and it is a place that will make people come back to eat. (Original) cafeRoyal Mile Mini Crepes crepes
