Jefcoate Anderson Architects enjoy a successful working relationship with Tom and his team at Cramond Renovations and we have worked on a number of projects together. Tom and his team are clearly passionate about what they do and this is evident in their attention to detail and excellent quality of workmanship. They are diligent, hardworking, friendly and communicative, all qualities which assist with the smooth running of a project on site. All in all, Tom is a pleasure to work with and we have always received glowing feedback from our clients.

Cramond Renovations are brilliant. Tom, Jackson, Dave and Tony are absolute gents of the trade and clearly know their stuff. This was our first big renovations project and like most newbies we were really nervous about who to go with and getting started. From the first visit, to agreeing the scope of works, we haven't looked back and it has been a really positive experience. The thing that probably stood out to us the most when doing our review of the initial site visits and quotes was the time that Tom (the gaffer) spent discussing ideas and the eye for detail that he had. Right the way through the process the team offered up different options and solutions to things as they cropped up. Now at the end of our project we couldn't be happier with the finish, the team have turned a shell of a house in to a home for life. Great people and a credit to their trade. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thanks Tom and the team.

Cramond Rennovations have carried out a structural remodelling, a small extension and complete renovation of our house over a 6 month period. It feels like a new house! We did not have any experience of Crammond Rennovations and were naturally a bit wary about committing to spend a large amount of money but its been a very positive experience. Tom Bradys core tenet is trust. Trust in him, trust in the job hell do and trust him to care about your home. But it is difficult to trust someone with your home and wallet when you dont know them. If you use Crammond Rennovations you can be assured of a very good job. These people are craftsmen. Tom really cares about what he does. Our priorities were quality, budget and timescale. All of which were respected. The quality is excellent, the price reflects this. If youre looking for a cheap Job, Crammond Rennovations are NOT for you. Youll get what you pay for. Additions and adjustments in scope and price are managed transparently. Tom Brady has some unconventional methods and, like everyone, can make you crazy. He does weekly invoices (yes, it does work), no retention fee (its OK, youll find that its not necessary) and can tell you he needs materials NOW and then not use them for a while (just expect it). Im certain we drove him nuts at times. But in the main it all works very well. We cannot recommend Crammond Rennovations enough. Tom Brady has managed to create a tight team of craftsmen who are a pleasure to work with. They are very talented, professional and respectful. If you can get Crammond Rennovations to carry out your project, grab them with both hands. Youd be crazy not to. Great job Tom and of course Tony, Davy and Jackson!

After receiving our planning permission in January 2020, we continued with the usual recommendation of requesting 3 quotes for the extension of the first floor into existing roof space, including removing two velux windows in the kitchen area and creating a new ceiling with lighting. Just as quotes started to arrive, lockdown arrived. We are so pleased we chose Cramond Renovations, for various reasons. The planning schedule was continually disrupted as Covid regulations changed, warehouse supplies for materials were affected, and the risk of staff requiring isolation crept in. Tom and his team were always upbeat. Not once did I not know what was going on, what work was due to be done each day, and which team member would be arriving at the house and when. Tom managed every minute detail of the project, keeping me up to date, and never did a piece of work get done without Tom consulting with us first. Seeing Tom and the team working together, whatever the weather, going above and beyond the norm, was so impressive, as was the final result of the work. We are now reviewing another piece of renovation and so hope that Cramond can fit us in sometime soon! I hope this review helps anyone looking for tradesmen. We found Tom through a personal recommendation, and I would advise anyone looking for a building / plumber / electrician to always go with recommendations rather than adverts. Tanya

Tom took on our Victorian house renovation in South Edinburgh in early 2021. The original scope was to replace the central heating & electrics as well as to fit bathrooms and a kitchen. Tom co-ordinated electricians, plumbers, joiners and other tradesmen to do this. As with many period properties, a number of unforeseen issues emerged, notably the roof. Tom recommended a good roofer and took on additional work to rebuild and re-strengthen a wooden bay window and other dormer windows. This was no simple task and it might have deterred others. Toms team worked hard to rectify other faults in the house, including defective plasterwork & replacing floor joists. I would recommend Cramond Renovations not only for their high-quality work but also for their advice about other suppliers, materials and design. Along the way they have also taken on additional requests from us, for example switching doors around and fitting an Edinburgh press. This work has been done to the highest standard and in keeping with the Victorian period fixtures. I am very grateful for all of the teams work and I would recommend Cramond Renovations to anyone with a large project to undertake.
