Scran New Town

You couldnt get a better experience! We came here for my friends birthday and Sanjin and the scran team went above and beyond to make our day fun, special and DELICIOUS! Food = incredible. Vibes = immaculate. Service = spectacular! Ill be back many more times to come!

We stumbled upon this place because the wait was too long at another breakfast locale. It wasn't busy and the interior is nicely decorated. I enjoyed my lemon blueberry pancakes and the presentation was lovely. The pancakes were a bit dry, but otherwise all was good. My husband enjoyed his breakfast sandwich too.

Made a booking for Scran new town for 4. We turned up and were directed to the other Scran around the corner, which was empty. Then they said they don't do food and directed us back to the other one again. And then was shouted at by a waitress saying we don't take bookings... *I show my confirmation email of said booking* they continued to shout and berate us about it saying they don't do bookings... Ended up leaving. What I don't understand is the new town has the table and chairs and the kitchen is detached from both the sitting areas anyway. So why not just open up both restaurants for food. There were 5 to 6 waiting staff for about 7 to 8 tables... Poorly run and managed business. Avoid at all costs if you don't want to be berated in public. Edit: for the reply from the owner. We were directed to the New Town, and was greeted by an employee who was on their phone, and just stated the booking was there but for drinks only... When the booking didn't stat drinks only. You should make it clear online you are booking for drinks only. And is it that difficult to have more people sitting in your New Town site when the kitchen is detached and could easily accommodate it. My review is of my personal experience with these sites that I visited so it is valid to submit. Thanks.
