Epic Performance - Utterly professional and a pleasure to deal with. I bought my last mountainbike in 2003 and last year was in a position to buy a new one. A lot has changed in the intervening 17 years, geometry, handlebar width, wheel size, chainrings reduced from 3 to 1, etc, etc. I needed guidance on this voyage into the relatively unknown and that's exactly what I got with Epic Performance. I've ridden with Jem before, albeit many years ago, and he was able to advise on the type of bike, and size, that would best suit my type of riding (XC / 24Hr events). With the Orbea Oiz selected as my new weapon of choice and components and colour options chosen via the Orbea MyO website Jem talked me through my choices in detail. This ensured that everything was 100% correct before placing the order and the bike being built. The point of no return! From the first ride it was obvious that Jem's advice was bang on the money. I will definitely be using Epic Performance for my next bike purchase (road / gravel?). Although I won't be waiting 17 years!

Epic Performance is an extremely professional organisation. Ive now bought two bikes from them and had a race assistance package from Jem for a 24hr race. For each bike I have bought from Epic Performance I have received top level customer care right the way from purchase to receiving the bike. Any questions I had, from correct sizing to specific group sets and set up, Epic Performance had the answers. The race assistance was as the name suggests: epic. All issues were sorted on the team bikes before the start. Jem worked tirelessly throughout the race to ensure each rider would go out on their lap with their bike in top working order allowing the riders the best chance to perform. The race assistance allowed the team to have no worries about any maintenance issues. Overall, Epic Performance provides some epic solutions to anything related to cycling. I will be returning to Epic in the future.

If you need a commensurate professional no matter your cycling needs, the you should look no further than Epic Performance. I have known Jem for some time since discovering Epic P online and reaching out to see if he could help with a project I was working on at that time. Since then, our relationship has gone from strength to strength and why I can provide this review. Jem has been my main provider of bikes, bike parts, mechanical support, bike maintenance training and project support. My newest N+1 is the beautiful Orbea Oiz came through Epic P and the journey to purchase was so easy with Jem. Its the personal approach that sets him out for others; youre not just another punter. My previous bikes have all undergone upgrades through Epic P from top of the range items, such as the DT Swiss XRC 1200 wheel set, through to the mundane items such as chains, brake pads, etc. He can support all of your needs - all you need is to ask a question. Epic P have also supported my training needs with high quality instruction under the Park Tool School banner. His training delivery is first class and even the hardened long term rider will learn something from Jem. He has also provided multifaceted support to overseas training camps for my mountain bike cross country team. This camp required guided support as the team were not familiar with the local trails, it required technical skills sessions to progress the team ahead of the forthcoming race season and mechanical support to keep the team riding daily. A big task and one that was delivered. To the highest quality without fuss. His support provided the perfect backdrop to the camp and the team successes that year. My experiences with Epic Performance have left me with no hesitation to provide a 5 star review for consistent 5 star support.

Considering a world record attempt, overseas trip or maybe just a bike service or upgrade? Talk to Epic Performance first!!! Ive been a customer of Team EpicP for around ten years now and they have been absolutely outstanding throughout. In the early days it was a straight forward bike service for a road bike with the odd equipment purchase and fitting. Service has always been excellent. Later it turned into support for trips overseas in Cyprus and Majorca where Epic Performance resourced and enabled a number of training camps focussed on both road cycling and MTB off-road in some really demanding but exhilarating terrain. They assisted with everything from travel to accommodation, bike servicing and coaching for riders of all different levels of ability. The biggest support received from Epic Performance was during a ride across America, raising much needed funds for a British Army Charity. The team provided a huge amount of expertise in the planning and delivery of what proved to be a seriously demanding event. Despite the inevitable frictions any team would experience during an endurance event such as this, Epic Performance were on hand to solve problems on a daily (even hourly) basis. Without their ability to react to the unexpected and problem solve, the ride would not have succeeded. Epic Performance deliver excellent service and are always happy to help or give sound advice. I would highly recommend their service to any MTB/ Road cyclist regardless of ability to help achieve whatever goals you may have.
