Edinburgh Bike Smith (Causewayside)

I purchased a new bike online and had to partially build it, having never done this kind of thing before, I gave Alan a call as Ive walked past his shop many times, and asked if he wouldnt mind having a look just check I had attached the parts correctly. Popped in around lunchtime and he had a look, tightened the disc brakes a wee bit and refused to accept payment! So I purchased an extremely reasonably priced, high quality D-lock. I will definitely be using Alans shop for any services/repairs, could not recommend enough, fantastic service.

Went in yesterday on my way home to try and get a part for my bike, they didn't have the right part which is understandable given it was very random. They helped me fix my bike and adjusted my breaks to be stop one of them rubbing, even tho he was busy at the time. Thanks loads will be coming back for sure.

This is a fantastic bike shop stocking all manner of high quality kit. The owner, Alan, has loads of good advice and is really helpful for all kinds of bike repairs whether big or small!

Excellent service, the owner is very polite, helpful, knowledgeable and willing to answer all my stupid questions. My bike's brake cable was broken and he helps me to fix it in 20 mins and with a very reasonable price. Will definitely recommend this shop for everyone!!!!
