Surprised by some of the one-star reviews here. I've only been in twice, once for a bit of a browse with my son, once because my dropper post cable snapped when I was nearby. Polite and chatty the first time, bend-over-backwards helpful the second time - he'd been called away but delayed his departure to find me a new cable and help me fit it right there, then only wanted to charge me 3. As I was leaving, another customer was coming in with a pal, saying 'this is the guy I told you about, he helped me out so much'. So I'll certainly be back.

Helped me realign my handlebars out after a bad fall nearby - exceptional service anytime but especially good given the shop wasn't even open yet and still in middle of relocating!!! Looking forward to popping in when shop opens. Thanks again.

Wanted to fix my bike it had no air and the gear was loose, as a customer the person working has to provide information about the wear abouts of the repair and be friendly. Very rude and I wouldn't suggest anyone visiting the place. Update to your comment "quote: 25 pounds to fix the gear and 15 pounds to put a chip in my tire". As your behavior stated nothing comes for free, do you really think you would provide me a free change of gear? I am sorry I just asked you what is a chip in the tire, I don't wanna pay you for something I don't know, so please learn to explain doesn't matter how much time it would take. If you do a great job you get paid for it. Don't ruin people's day with your attitude.

Broke my quick release so popped in for a new one. He couldn't find the new ones because they've just moved so gave me an old one for free. Bike back on the road the same day :)
