Alba House

Alba House is a beautiful building with lovely bright rooms. The beds were super comfy and the amenities provided were everything that you need for a short stay! Kath was a lovely lady who made us feel very welcome on arrival. We unfortunately didn't make it to breakfast due to heavy heads but the organised breakfast selection method seemed great. The location is about a 30 minute walk from central Edinburgh but the public transport is very easy and efficient! A bus stop is right outside Alba House and multiple buses (that come very frequently) can take you up into Edinburgh city centre. This b&b was slightly more expensive than we would usually go for but the price is totally justified. I am very happy with our stay here and would highly recommend it!

(Translated by Google) I was visiting Edinburgh with my mum and we booked a room at Alba House for four nights. It was so so beautiful and totally exceeded our expectations! Cath and her husband, the hosts, are so welcoming, attentive and helpful. The small Victorian villa is beautiful and the room, breakfast room and general furnishings are stylish, nice and clean. We felt so comfortable and would come back anytime! A big recommendation :-) (Original) Ich war mit meiner Mama in Edinburgh und wir haben fr vier Nchte ein Zimmer im Alba House gebucht. Es war so so schn und hat unsere Erwartungen voll bertroffen! Cath und ihr Mann, die Gastgeber, sind so herzlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die kleine viktorianische Villa ist wunderschn und das Zimmer, der Frhstcksraum und generell die Einrichtung sind stilvoll, schn und sauber. Wir haben uns so wohlgefhlt und wrden jederzeit wiederkommen! Eine groe Empfehlung :-)
