Awful service. Waited an hour for the lady to show up for my appointment. No sign of her. Got a text from her asking for me to wait 5 mins. No sign of her after 20. Don't let her waste your time.

I've never left a one-star review until now. I booked a massage through Treatwell on Friday at 4pm for the next day at 11am. I showed up and the place was closed. I called, the woman said she emailed me (she hadn't), went "I'll call you back" then hung up on me. Five minutes later, she sent me a text admitting she had emailed another client instead and told me to cancel the appointment on Treatwell because she was unwell. Surely she could have either cancelled the booking herself when she knew she wouldn't make it (then I would have got an email), sort out the refund herself (then I wouldn't have had to spend time looking up what to do and filling in a form instead of getting a relaxing massage). Had she apologised on the phone and offered me to reschedule, I would have - I can always overlook a mistake when the service is friendly. But the way she went about it felt unprofessional and left a bad taste in my mouth. I might be a bit more harsh because this was supposed to be my first time having 'me time' after giving birth 3 months ago (which of course she didn't know), but I felt particularly disappointed and disregarded.
