Booked through treatwell for an "ombre, cut and blowdry". Stylist, Cherie didn't spend any time asking what I wanted and walked away as soon as I said "ombre". I naively thought a professional hairdresser would know what ombre was. Consequence of this was me getting nothing close to ombre. Instead, I had bleached highlights coming from the roots of my hair (I'm brunette). I explained to Cherie that this was not what I asked for and she apologised and offered her personal mobile number. She texted me that I could either come back to get it fixed or get my money back. **For the record - to get it fixed she suggested dying the top of my hair back to brown, so I am not sure why she has later argued that she didn't apply bleach to the top of my hair. Furthermore I have added a picture showing undeniably bleach coming from my root (See picture)**. As I have a newborn baby, I opted for a refund but was then only given 50% of what I paid, which is not what she offered (which I have in writing). Cherie was then argumentative on text when I tried to get my money back so I just gave up. You can see her personal and frankly mean comeback to my more than fair and honest review of my feedback that I left on Treatwell. I truly do understand that mistakes can happen but it is unprofessional to go back on your offer of rectifying a mistake and then to be mean to customers when they speak up/leave a review. It was my first time having my hair done here and it was wonderful. Megan is really professional and I was so pleased with the results. She really listened to what I was after and explained her approach throughout. She was friendly, professional, and truly talented at what she does- HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The service was also fantastic from her assistant and the reception team. So glad I chose Soho Makeup, Hair & Beauty Bar and cant wait to come back!
