A small cosy local bar for local people and everybody else, quiet sometimes and other times it's quicker to leave one door and enter the other to get across the bar. Staff friendly and helpful if occasionally prone to intemperate language when it's time to go home where they'd quite like to be as well. Excellent range of real ales when they haven't run out which seems to have happened more often than not this year. Maybe consider going somewhere else nearby with better stock control/cashflow?
