Met for cocktails and nibbles with friends. Staff very attentive and food lovely. Great venue for in town drinking and meeting up with friends. Recommend to book weekend events especially Vegetarian options: Chilli chips and the broccolli were delicious

This is an absolutely lovely place. I am staying in a hotel room and it is only the first night, but after the dinner I've just eaten, I knew I had to write a review before I forgot. The dinner was one of the loveliest I've had in ages. Between two of us, our bill was about 50; for the quality and size of our food, the price felt incredibly fair. We had bread with delicious black garlic aioli. I had a chicken sandwich which was juicy, and my friend had haddock that was perfectly tender. For anyone with food allergies, they asked if either of us had food allergies, unprompted, upon taking our order. Our server was attentive and friendly. The hotel room is perfectly suited, as well. The bed is comfortable, kitchen well set up, and everything we could reasonably need is provided.
