Highly recommended! The team organised and delivered a fantastic thank you afternoon tea to the lovely carers at my mums residential home. All the food was delicious, especially the scones, and the centrepiece cake looked stunning. Really nice to deal with pleasant, helpful and efficient staff throughout. A hugely positive experience, thank you.

Absolutely gorgeous cake, both in taste and look. First time we have uses Mimi's Bakehouse and will definitely use them again. The service and communication was also brilliant. Thank you! x

Love Mimi's food, was super helpful to be able to pick up at their head office and they were really cheery to boot.

I've not been inside Mimi's HQ or even picked up a food order. This review is for the almost secret third thing you can go here. You can ring for cake. During the lockdown, as an experiment, Mimi's started selling some cakes, buns, goodies and filter coffee through a hatch in the wall. It was slated to run for a month and I guess it was successful as three months later it is going... But ONLY on Sunday morning! Sunday morning for the ring for cake service. Sorry to repeat myself, but I'd feel bad if you turned up on any other day. You might not even get to ring for cake if you find the hatch on Sunday. There's usually a little queue, even in the rain, and no need to pressure the charming button in the wall to summon cake. I have to say, get their early and get buns straight from the oven. Yes, there's a slight risk that they're still cooling and can't be served yet. Worse case is you get something else but it's worth the chance. There's usually a coffee deal to. Something like coffee and a scone for three quid. You can pay three quid just for a coffee nearby, so this is a great deal. I generally have the food half eaten before I leave the car park, but they put it all in a mimisy box for for any way. Only in the worst rain have I proudly walked back through Granton with me cupcake in a little plastic cup or branded box. One negative, and it's obvious, this is a hatch service. If you have a dog leash in one hand and a toddler in the other then you're going to struggle to carry your tasty loot. Unless you've driven, there is no table to put things down to coordinate hands or sort out napkins. [September 22 Update - Still great]
