The City Workshop Edinburgh

This was a new experience as the last drawing that l did was at school(many moons ago). It was so well organised and Tamar was always so pleasant and easy - and a very good artist! But you were encouraged to go at your own pace, meanwhile you were learning something new every week.It was a small group and personal in a really nice way, supported and made to feel you could do it! Too short! Can only recommend these sessions, it was fun and instructive- thanks Tamar!

Its been a great experience and such good fun to pick up a pencil and to try variety of other art materials provided and to have go at drawing! Attended the class with my husband and we both loved it! Tamar is such approachable supportive and generous teacher in sharing her knowledge and experience and explaining everything really well. Also appreciated coffee (me) and biscuits (my husband). Would highly recommend this course

We had a great time with making leather 'whatever' cases! Tamar was a great teacher, very friendly and patient. We left with neat, high-quality cases and the knowledge to make projects like this from start to finish. We're definitely going to keep this hobby up. Would highly recommend The City Workshop! Thanks again for the tea and biscuits :)

This was an excellent workshop for those with no previous leather or sewing experience. Tamar paced the tutoring just right and we were not rushed in the slightest. Great to learn new skills and even better to leave the class with a good quality finished leather pouch. Would thoroughly recommend this class to individuals or groups.
