Highly recommended. Very professional and smooth service. An engineer came to repair a broken washer/drier within days of it breaking. By coincidence my dishwasher broke not long after and they came even quicker. I decided to replace it rather than repair, they delivered a new one and installed it the next working day. The White Eagle completed job for me as agreed. The issue arose after an invoice for the job was sent to me and I realised that I had no access to warranty for a new appliance (washing machine) that was fitted by the trader. Before agreeing to this job I was told that the appliance came with two year warranty. White Eagle provided a new appliance from a company called White Knight and when I asked White Eagle if they could provide warranty details, Mr Soltysiak said there was no need to register warranty and he sent me a web page for White Knight. When studying the information on the page I realised that in order to claim warranty from White Knight (which was only 1 year - different to what I was offered when agreeing to a job) I would require a proof of purchase - a receipt for the washing machine. Since White Eagle purchased it, I asked them for the receipt or clarification on how to claim warranty so I could pay their invoice. I had to repeat this request several times. Close to the invoice due date after sending another email wanting clarification on the matter, I was sent an email from White Eagle saying the invoice was due and if I didn't pay in seven days the invoice will be sent to Small Claims Court. There was no explanation or response provided with regards to the proof of purchase and warranty for the washing machine. I tried to explain further couple of days later that what I found on the webpage didn't align with what I was told and I sought further clarification regarding warranty. There was no response so I tried again to chase this in about a week. Then I was sent an aggressive, sarcastic and very patronising email accusing me of causing scenes and threatening me with court and ridicule on social media. The belittling tone continued that day at which point I decided to disengage. I also decided to pay the invoice although I knew as a customer I had every right to seek clarification on warranty for the goods that I was provided. It was simply not worth my time and stress to take legal action. I am appalled however by the attitude and lack of professionalism displayed by White Eagle. Using different types of privately owned services for over a decade in Edinburgh this is the first time I have experienced such poor standard of customer service. Ps. In response to the below, the warranty citation about two years was added to the invoice ONLY after I paid the invoice, after my repeat trying to get this clarified for a month and having to deal with unacceptable and unprofessional behavior.
