This place is in a very good location but sadly everything else is disappointing. The bedrooms are narrow and rectangular, the walls being just one stride apart. Said walls are so paper-thin that youd better pray your neighbour doesnt have a cough. I dont know what Victorian orphanage the beds were taken from but they are a miserable experience. There is barely room for one person to roll over, they squeak constantly and generally arent very comfortable. Considering how many people are in a flat the kitchen and communal space is very small. There is no way all my flatmates could fit comfortably in the kitchen at once, let alone guests, so dont plan any communal dinners. Also basic amenities like a kettle arent provided which is frankly a joke considering the price of the accommodation. Laundry is extra and is quite pricey. So if location is king and youre willing to make sacrifices in terms of comfort this place could be for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

The University of Edinburgh Student Accommodation Location is great but the rooms & en-suite bathrooms are small. Overall, the property and fixtures are quite modern as the buildings were renovated recently. If youre lucky, you might get a room that faces the crags! Met one of my closest friends here so no regrets! (Hi Cline)
