I bought a cask from Struan Logan who was very helpful with all my questions (and I had a lot of questions!). He went above and beyond and was the reason I bought a cask through Cask88 instead of other companies. He also helped me with exchanging currencies (as I live in Oz) which saved me a couple hundred dollars! I would highly recommend Cask88 and Struan if you are interested in buying a cask.

I dealt with Patrick Costello and Cask 88 on a number of casks and they have been truly exceptional. Above all theyve been fully transparent and upfront throughout. This is really invaluable as trust is paramount and Cask 88 are very reputable. Also, the service, knowledge, and communication is always excellent and timely. As well as expertise, they have a wide network of contacts in the industry, as well as a world class design team. Their passion for what they do is obvious.

I had Cask 88 offer for a cask reviewed by two brokers (taking in consideration the type of cask/wood, whisky blend, age, volume,...) and the price of Cask 88 was three times what it would currently sell for. Cask 88's whiskies are not really rare. Very nice margin for Cask 88. I also asked them for the insurance policy for the cask and they provided me with document pieces which had nothing to do with an insurance policy plus it had no legal value (no date, signature, names crossed...).

Had a call with Patrick Costello. He was very good to explain me why buy a cask and storing it for a decade. Helped me understand on why the cask can be an alternative investment etc.... Invested for buying 3 casks from Speyside. The wonderful part is that, they have associated insurance plans with the purchase, which actually covers any of my risks in this investment.
