        Very interesting visit on first day open day of the new season at this National Trust historic house and lovely garden, with helpful guides and good tearoom.

        The gardens are open even though the house is closed in winter. Very well tended and trimmed by the gardening team. Snowdrops and aconities making a display in mid February.
