Mark did a great job at repairing a not insignificant chip in the headstock of my Rickenbacker bass (JetGlo). He also sorted out a bit of a soldering/wiring issue for me. Great service, happy with the results of both repairs and the price.

Recently got my hands on a Mark Burnet dreadnought, the guitar is a dream to play, the sound from it is seriously better than any dreadnought Ive played before. Cheers G

A couple years ago I purchased a beautiful classical guitar from Mark. Normally my music making is highly technology dependent (computers and electric/amplified instruments) but I've found great inspiration and joy in the sound and feel of this high quality instrument. Mark's craftsmanship and attention to detail is quite apparent- the guitar just begs to be picked up and played. While I consider myself somewhat of a novice at classical guitar, I do have an extensive musical background and an appreciation for high quality music making tools (particularly stringed instruments), and this instrument has quickly become one of my favorite possessions! I find it quite liberating and therapeutic at times to unplug from all the technology and focus on creating music with this instrument for a while.

An incredible, custom guitar and a great experience too. Mark had previously done a small job on my favourite strat and when I took it in, I saw the incredible craftsmanship in his beautiful handmade guitars. With a milestone birthday approaching, I asked if he would build me one of his signature steel-strung models. Every step of the ensuing process of wood choice (redwood top, Indian rosewood back and sides), design choices and custom decisions was exciting and enjoyable. I was able to choose the exact pieces of wood that would be used and I had an idea for a small customisation that Mark not only accommodated, but designed from my vague description and what he came up with is amazing. Having seen his work, I was happy to leave the majority of the choice of woods for the details to Mark. I should mention there were many photographic updates direct to me and via Facebook which were great to see. His love of wood and skills in crafting it shine through in all his work - the guitar he has built for me is no exception. The Guitar. I have run out of words to describe how amazing this instrument is. It sounds and feels so good to play, it's really responsive and balanced and bass frequencies are warm and rich without being boomy. Mid and higher tones sing out and again there's still that warmth with enough brightness to stay balanced. It's a pleasure to play. Visually, it is nothing short of stunning. A homage to the beauty of wood and Mark's experience and skill literally shines from every surface. I spend as much time looking at this guitar as playing it. - a real feast for the eyes as well as the ears. Absolute top quality craftsmanship. I could go on and on about the details that please me, the multiple layered binding, the exquisite rosette, the custom (wooden) inlay And to top it all off, Mark is the nicest guy as well. If you're getting something custom built, you want it to be a great experience as well as an amazing final product. This was everything I hoped it would be and more. Thank you Mark
