An excellent experience at Coppertrees. Superb service and even better food. Would highly recommend this establishment. Dietary restrictions: My wife has specific food intolerances. I emailed ahead asking if any of the dishes could be adapted for my wife. Upon arrival, on our table was a personalised menu for my wife displaying all the dishes that she could safely eat. An excellent gesture.

Overall experience of this wee place hidden in East Kilbride was good. Food itself was very delish and worth the pennies sadly what let it down was the service. No smile, no engagement just came in and was told to sit yourself anywhere, then waited 10mins to be given a paper menu and drinks order to be taken. Now I know how it can be in a busy environment but there wasnt that many customers in at the time. So unsure why it took such a large time to be given a menu or drinks. The food came out and was brilliantly presented and tasted just as good as it looked. (Starters were chicken teriyaki and mushroom Tart) For the main we had a steak burger and spinach and ricotta ravioli (with a creamy nut sauce) Sadly didnt get any deserts as we asked twice for a desert menu (which there was only 4/5 to choose from, from initially seeing them on the menu at the start) but ended up being left to our own devices before we called it quits. Food was presented well and tasted brilliant, the atmosphere and look of the place was impressive and very modern, but the service left us a little underwhelmed as this place was recommended to us by a fellow foodie and friend of ours. We may revisit in the future but not in any rush to do so.

Went yesterday for the first time, food and service were spot on. We had the seafood sharing platter which was excellent and very tasty and there was plenty of it. Main courses off the main menu were huge. My other half couldn't eat all of hers as there was so much. Asked for a doggy bag which they don't normally do but the waiter managed to get us a plastic tub to take away. (Might be a good idea to think about making that available all the time). My chicken Caesar salad was fab and also very filling as there was lots of it. We couldn't fault the place, served great food and service was speedy. Mind you it was quiet when we were there at lunchtime. Will defo be back for some more excellent grub. Just been again and can't fault the place. Food was tasty and big portions. Great value for money. Parking: Car park wasn't too busy when we arrived but was full when we left, so you might have to park elsewhere.

Use this restaurant on a regular basis usually is really nice but the last twice I am wondering if I will be returning as about 2 weeks ago I had the steak pie meal it was cold but I continued to eat it as I passed it of as a one off and was offered a desert on the house but I was there last night and the whole roast lamb dinner was cold so I said straight away and they then brought the meal again and was hot but the issue was that my meal was later than my husbands one so he was finished before I received mine. Whats the point of going out for a meal if everytime its served and have to worry if it'd going to be warm enough. UPDATE: will definitely not be returning to this restaurant as I am extremely disappointed to now see that it is dog friendly I think it is now bordering on the ridiculous as allowing dogs other than service dogs in a place where food is served and supposed to be hygienic is definitely not tge case.
