Dropped by A1 Tyres with no appointment as I needed two tyres for my car ( Ford Kuga ) the young lad on the front desk was great, he came out looked at my tyres and noticed that there might be an issue with the traction on my car ( I think thats what he said ) any way he explained all the pricing. In total they had my car for an hour, two NEW tyres fitted for 138 ( bargain ) the young lad was them honest enough to say that there wasnt an issue with my traction, the issue was, I was driving with the tyre pressure too low so he sorted that as well. Polite, professional and honest while offering amazing value. What else do you want.

Called in the morning to ask about fixing a puncture and was given an appointment an hour later. I was running a bit late because of the puncture but they still took me even though I was late, and it was coming up to their lunch break. I suspected I'd need a new tyre anyway, but the guy took his time to explain to me the exact problem and almost apologised that it had to be a replacement tyre rather than a repair. It was replaced, and I was on my way within about 20 minutes. Quick, well informed, and good priced service.

I will rate this business in negative figures due to rude conduct by staff and reported this local business to police for their appalling behaviour. I phoned and the lady asked me to come anytime in the afternoon but once I arrived I explained this is what the lady said but that man at the desk was rude. And I guess this wouldnt be the case of it was not a coloured person. He started shouting at me to leave the shop and abused me using f words. When I refused to leave the man ordered his co workers to pull the shutter down and threatened to lock me in when I said I will report this to the police. He also tried to grab me and push me but I am no sure why he did not do it (probably because the CCTV was on). I was scared and so stepped out of the shop. I am a doctor by profession. And previously when I was at the shop tried to explain that any problem should be bought to notice however trivial the matter is. Guess they did not appreciate my word of advice and tried to take it on me this time.
