Real care agency more than happy to send people out to your beloved families without manual handling training or any prior experience with people or medication.

Phoned this company 3 weeks ago to see if they had availability for 2 hours of help for my mum and dad who have dementia/cancer/mobility problems. They took my details and said they would get back to me. Nearly 3 weeks later no response. I phoned them again to see if they could help. Spoke to the manager who said someone would call me back the following day. Just had to call for the 3rd and final time to be told they can,t help at the moment! As a carer for both parents I am very busy and needing help, not to be having to chase a company for an answer. Very disappointed with the way this has been handled.

If u can find another agency then please do.We had this agency for over a year and had several.problems with them.We installed a camera which they knew about and saw many carers staying for anything between 7 and 12 minutes. My mum ended up in hospital with severe dehydration and that was after a weekend of them visiting twice a day and writing in their log all is well. My mum fell opening the door to a carer who then picked her up made her a cup of tea and called my brother to say she was fine. Ended up in hospital 5 hours later. I understand these carers are worked and pushed to the limit but humanity and compassion are free.

I have respect and admiration for the whole team . Working for Real Care has and continues to show me a whole new side of life into the world of care giving. A side of life that only is known to those who are caring and those who are being cared for. My clients who I give care to have become very special to me . I have learned something's about myself that no other job could ever of taught me . Everyday I experience inspiration through the lives of others who I care for and that's what drives me to learn more about the needs of others. It can be hard and the hours are long.We will be under pressure at times but I must say that this is the most challenging job I have ever experienced and by far the most rewarding . It has to be said that this job is not easy but Real Care certainly do have a dedicated, hard working team of great carers who I am fortunate work with.
