Quite tough and boggy but worth it. Dont go via Osdale Cottages as cant get through fence. Instead go through gate to field left of (and before) cottages, nearer to river.Theres a path to get you up the summit and on top, but prior to that you have to find your own way.

A relatively easy trek to the summit but was fairly boggy and the final push to the top is steep. Waterproofs and good footwear is recommended. The views of the surrounding area on the way up were excellent but once the summit was in sight the mist rolled in obscuring the views. A herd of deer was one of the highlights. Overall a good hike and a sense of achievement upon reaching the top. Note that the path disappears as you get higher so make some note of various spots along the way to aid your descent.

(Translated by Google) Best experience on Skye this week. The way to the top of the "table" was extremely exhausting for me as an untrained and slightly overweight person. Nevertheless, the view from up there more than made up for the exertion. I've never had a view like this anywhere else. What definitely makes sense are good, waterproof hiking shoes. Surefootedness is absolutely necessary, because from a certain height there are no longer any fixed paths, just not paths used by the sheep, which are logically quite muddy and slippery if it has rained before. On the last stage you have to climb properly. Not recommended for people with weak knees but definitely a fantastic challenge!
