Barnardo's

A particular member of staff ALWAYS makes donating to this shop at McNeish Way, Stewartfield, East Kilbride, Glasgow, an unpleasant experience because of her very bad attitude. Normally, l would ask to speak to a manager about this type of rude and unprofessional behaviour, in any type of establishment but l know that she would deny her behaviour, as she obviously thinks that her approach is acceptable! The good news is that all of the other staff members are nice friendly people so she should take a leaf out of their book! The staff must absolutely cringe at her total lack of customer service skills and rudeness. If her bad attitude continues l will have no other option to stop making my monthly donations to this charity all together, as there are plenty of other much deserving charities who have got pleasant staff with no attitude! 0/10 and absolutely no stars for her! I have advised all of my friends and family members to steer well clear of this branch BECAUSE of her unfriendly, rude attitude!

I agree with the previous reviews , 2 occasions I have taken in several bags, no nice manner from the staff , as if its too much bother.

Arrived just after 5 after seeing online they were meant to be open until 5.30 and woman was leaving was so rude. Was really huffy and when we said that we saw online that it said open to 5.30 she said no and she had already let someone else in the shop (like what has that to do with is) the whole attitude was nasty! Like its not your customers fault you cant be bothered keeping your online info accurate and up to date!

Very rude, I checked Google for opening times, it said 5.30 close, I arrived at 5.05 and asked if they were accepting donations the woman replied "we're closing soon!" I looked bewildered as that clearly didn't answer my question, she said "well, that depends what have you got?" I said clothes, she said "how many bags?" that's when I got a bit narky and said about 5, do you want them or not? She said yes, then let my pregnant self bring them to the back of the shop. I've never experienced this trouble at Lindsayfield Barnardo's. Not welcoming in the slightest
