I trusted this garage a lot. Felt comfortable with them. Put niggling doubts to the back of my mind but eventually I've had to admit to myself that I'm being ripped off. Work needing done has been missed on purpose to keep me coming back. So disappointed in what I've found out at another garage. Spent a fortune here and will not spend another penny. I would caution you to avoid this garage. There is no other way of describing it other than a rip off. Beware.

I've been using this garage for quite a few years now and it has mostly been a happy experience. Not today though. Took my van in for an oil change service. My complaint might seem quite trivial. I put 10 litres of Adblue in a couple of weeks ago and this normally lasts several months before the warning light come back on and the warning certainly wasn't on when I handed the van in. Anyway, the garage took the liberty of filling the Adblue tank up completely so this was an additional 10 litres which makes sense as it has a 20 litre tank. Was then charged 32.16 inc. VAT for the Adblue which is much more expensive than the typical 20 supermarket prices, Wickes do it for 18. It didn't even need Adblue (a warning light would be on the dash) so fill the tank completely and then overcharge just seems wrong. I know some mark up from retail prices is expected but it shouldn't really have been filled at least without asking first. My work pay for the service but can't help but think about all the other people (elderly etc) who may be exploited. Adblue is a consumable fluid and plenty of warning is given on the dash when it is running low, just like fuel is. It doesn't seem all that different to filling the fuel tank up completely without being asked and then overcharging for the fuel. I did mention that I'd recently topped up with Adblue so they were given the chance to correct this situation but the staff just said that "not enough" had been put in. This isn't true as the tank was half full.

Absolutely happy with this garage. They did a marvellous job of explaining all that was needed for the MOT,with a rough costing. They were good at listening to what I (number 1 amateur car owner) wanted. At no point was I made to feel uncomfortable about talking about the car. But, I cannot thank them enogh for going the extra mile. I couldn't make it up to pick up the car as I was due in at work. One of the guys drove my car and met me outside of work to hand me my key, which ment I had my car over the weekend. Whow, what a service, absolutely brilliant. I will be back for mot,s or work for as long as I am driving. Massive Thank you.
