They don't mention the essential thermal sensor required with their SSD to eliminate fan noise in an iMac ...because they don't sell them and conveniently ignore it in their installation video..!

I have bought memory many times from Crucial. Their online tool always selected the correct memory, it was dispatched quickly, and worked reliably when installed. This last month had a problem with GLS courier in Portugal failing twice to deliver a correctly addressed parcel (with phone No on the label!). GLS also ignores emails and has no operators answering calls - so you are left hanging for 30 minutes. However Crucial have been magnificent. Will use again - when a different courier is used. (RM Track/Trace passes to GLS who are so bad I can't understand how they are still in business).

Amazing SSD, but only letdown is that linux and mac is unsupported! I work in IT and have done for many years, I recently bought an SSD from them. The service was great, delivery was fast etc and as far as the actual hardware goes it great not a problem what so ever. The one and only reason I didn't give it 5* is because. Well...when I first purchased it, I ran it on a windows machine (puke) but, as such I download the official software "Crucial Storage Executive" which is a brilliant tool for managing the drive, updating firmware and such. However, when I went back to my linux OS (which, let's be honest is much better in every way, possibly except gaming) I was sorry to see that it's unsupported, why!? and it's not just my distro but no linux is supported at all, in fact I don't even think Mac OS is supported either, this needs to be rectified ASAP and once it is, in my opinion you'll have one of the best SSD's out there for the price.
