Friend and I were overcharged for a single can (totalling 3 for a 330ml can, each - paid by contactless). Went in to complain 10 minutes later upon realising - person who charged us was nowhere to be seen. Eventually got our money back. All felt very scammy.

2nd time reviewing this cafe. I believe my last review wasn't all that positive. Today was a better experience. Girl on the counter was patient with me trying to figure out what to have. I ordered scrambled egg on toast. There was quite a wait but when I arrived the portion was decent and the quality was good. Staff did seem friendly. Glad I'm finally able to give it a better review. 4 stars due to being quite a long wait.

Was overcharged double for one item Bought a can of juice, was charged 3 , when this didn't seem right I looked at the menu and noticed the cans were listed at 1.50, returned to the cafe amist surprised looks from the staff who said I , and another person with me had been charged double. The girl who served me was missing from the scene and was given money back, these people are not treating customers fairly and taking total advantage , avoid.

We visited the coffee shop after visiting Santa - where kids receive a voucher for hot chocolate. I felt obliged to have a drink too and ordered a latte and empire BISCUIT and was charged 6.20! The price list at the til wasn't prominently displayed or clear and I later questioned what I had been charged - 3.50 for a latte and 2.70 for an empire biscuit! Biscuits were priced at 1 on the list, but I was informed this price was for the biscuits which I hadn't noticed behind me at the door. Empire biscuits were instead charged as cakes at 2.70. The coffee was average at best and the shocking prices aren't justified at all when you consider the better quality and prices at Costa, starbucks, Tim hortons etc. Will not be back or recommending, and considering ditching Santa there too next year despite being repeat visitors. I suggest you educate your staff on the difference between a cake and biscuit and sort out your price list as the extortionate charges aren't justified. The tables and floor were also unclean and despite it being relatively busy with people coming and going, I didn't once see anyone wipe the tables.
